I would like to get this pool going for the 2010 World Cup. We need more than just a couple of members.

The world cup starts in the summer, so i am going to give you all until the middle of April to decide whether you will be taking part this year. If there is little interest then nothing will happen. It will be fun getting this back up and running since the last World Cup Pool was a success.

Who here is interested? and how do you think the pool should be run? if there are not many suggestions on the way the pool is run yet a few interested members then i will knock together a draft of the rules for this years Soccer world cup.

Well, we'll assume that Mark, DK, Cuerock and myself are all taking part (nobody has actually said if they are or not). If we can get a couple of other members then it will be good.

We've had pools with 4 people before and it has been okay, so worst case scenario is we just have 4 of us. We need to all continue though throughout, afterall the pool is barely a month in length so it shouldn't be too bad.

Can you do a mass email Mark?

Yeah, after I get some of what's broken fixed. If I don't do it soon, next time Bigweb updates his server nobody will be able to log on here.

The WC is in a week and we haven't really made the rules yet...should the rules be like the ones for the champions league, pick who will go through, or should we change them? I am fine with those rules, but am open to any changes.

Been busy recently with a few things and have no Internet (except on iPhone). I'd like to put something together before it starts but won't have Internet until Tuesday at the earliest. Can you confirm the start date? I've been trying to avoid reading about it because all you get in Scotland is silly reminders of how England won it in 1966 and how it is their time this year etc etc.

If it starts after tuesday I'll do something about this then.
